Every so often, the crypto markets are reminded of big players' influence over our sentiments. One logo change, carnage, and mayhem.

Since Elon took over Twitter, doge enthusiasts have been reaping the rewards while speculating over the potential integrations the billionaire would put forth involving $DOGE.

In the platform's latest update, the social media phenomenon changed its iconic blue logo into the Dogecoin image, as shown above. Many began wondering how long this update would live while the price increased over 20% following the change.

The answer was less than 48 hours, as very shortly after Elon embraced the meme, the logo was then returned to normal, further influencing the retracement in the price for $DOGE.

Bloomberg’s Crypto Tax Claim🤡

Crypto taxes is the loudest unheard conversation in this industry, and according to Swedish tech company Divly, the dialogue is silent.

Divly’s findings were made public after being reported by Bloomberg that found less than 1% of crypto investors paid taxes on their crypto during 2022. It further highlighted that only 0.53% of crypto investors paid taxes on digital assets.

The last year has washed away any profits that could be reported; however, it caught the attention of weather investors declaring their digital assets to their respective tax authorities.

According to the report, the United States has the most cryptocurrency taxpayers.

Apple MacBooks Are Satoshi💻🍊

Out of all the news we have reported in the past two years, this story will inevitably reaffirm your bias.

An independent blogger revealed that the Bitcoin whitepaper is hidden on every MacBook running the latest MacOS software.

This caused significant questions from crypto investors, wondering why Apple would put a nine paged document on every computer. Some began speculating that a Bitcoin maxi must be working as a developer at Apple, or it may have just been used for backend testing.

Andy Baio, the blogger behind this finding, added the following:

“The file is found in every version of macOS from Mojave (10.14.0) to the current version. Ventura (13.3), but isn’t in High Sierra (10.13) or earlier” Andy Baio.

To find the whitepaper, you must open a terminal and give the following command:

“ open /System/Library/Image Capture/Devices/VirtualScanner.app/Contents/Resources/simpledoc.pdf “

On-Chain Update⛓️: Binance Dominance Under Threat👎

As banks collapse and false rumors of Interpol red notices for Binance’s founder, crypto exchanges have been in murky waters for quite some time.

In the past two weeks, Binance has lost over 16% market share of trade volume following the CFTC lawsuit. Binance remains the largest crypto exchange regarding trade volume, with 54% dominance.

As a reminder, this is not a trading signal or investment advice; it is an opinion, and each trader/investor should know and understand the risks of trading cryptocurrencies. This should not be regarded as financial advice; feel free to familiarise yourself with our NFA disclaimer.
