BINANCE — PARIS

Recently we have seen a grave deal of emerging acceptance for the digital asset space across a range of different states and most recently we have seen a commitment from Binance one of the largest crypto exchanges to expand their grasp across the world.

It was announced that there was a 100 million euro investment in France which was in partnership with Paris incubator Station F.

CZ commented that France is positioned to be the leader of the blockchain industry in Europe stating that the Binance team has about 50 people in France.

Binance will be looking at benefitting startups through the support from the Binance chain (BNB) as well as NFT Labs & Binance Labs to assist further collaborations with partners of Binance.

There is no surprise that Binance has been ruthless in its pursuit of expansion due to the previous pressure placed on them to work hand in hand with compliance.

RobinHood Tops Up On Crypto Listings 🧾

ROBINHOOD TRADING PLATFORM

One of the biggest deniers of new money in the space is simply access. Many newcomers in the market haven’t got the experience to explore a decentralised exchange hence the popularity of platforms like coinbase.

Since 2018 Robinhood has been enticed by the opportunity to list cryptocurrencies for their users to interact and buy or sell their favourite coins. Previously only being home to 6 cryptocurrencies, Robinhood has recently listed: Solana, Shiba-Inu, Polygon and Compound.

From layer 1’s to Defi to shit-coins, Robinhood expanding its tastebuds to a range of different currencies only opens up the possibility of wall street money coming in further to crypto.

NBA Ventures Web 3.0 ⛹️‍♂️

On many previous Issues, we have expressed the liking which the institution of sport has taken to the digital asset space and it comes with no surprise that this will continue through 2022 and the near future.

NBA X CRYPTO

Many reports have been breaking expressing that the NBA’s launch into crypto could be sooner rather than later with a series of trademarks that were made public.

It was noticed that the basketball association owned two ENS domains:

  • NBA.ETH
  • THEASSOCIATIONNFT.ETH

Which were rumoured to be associated with a wallet belonging to the NBA’s head of gaming and digital assets Adrienne O’Keeffe.

NBA has a range of crypto partnerships and filing for 4 NFT trademarks could be seen as the catalyst to kickstart the crypto economies role in the NBA.

Portugals Crypto Grant 🇵🇹

It seems like every week we have a new state willing to turn to the crypto economy but it looks like Europe has a major intention to accelerate that process and the latest to join that list is Portugal.

PORTUGAL

On the 15th of April, it was announced that the Central Bank of Portugal granted the first crypto license to a bank.

Bison Bank which is the said bank was authorised to distribute crypto custodians and trading services. Bison Bank provides a range of wealth management services to individuals and institutional clients which can provide some context to the impact of this news.

As a reminder this is not a trading signal, it is an opinion and each trader/investor should know and understand the risks attached to trading. At no point should this be regarded as financial advice
